Cooking Scallops In An Air Fryer
Cooking scallops in your air fryer is totally doable. While you may not achieve the sear on the outsides, the insides do stay juicy when cooked quickly at a high temp.
We are letting the scallops shine and keeping the ingredients minimal with just salt, pepper, lemon and parsley.

How To Cook Scallops In An Air Fryer
- Spray air fryer basket with nonstick. Preheat air fryer to 400ºF.
- Remove side muscles from scallops (see video). Pat scallops dry with paper towels.
- Toss scallops in oil and salt. Transfer to preheated air fryer basket along with lemon wedges.
- Air fry scallops at 400ºF for 5-7 minutes or until opaque and cooked to 145ºF internal temp. Time will vary depending on size of scallops.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over scallops and sprinkle with pepper. Serve topped with chopped parsley.
