Yes! Chicken is one of my favorite things to cook in my air fryer. It is the juiciest chicken you will ever eat! And chicken wings cooked in the air fryer are no different. Tender, juicy and flavorful.
How Long Do You Cook Chicken Wings In The Air Fryer
As with just about every air fryer recipe, keep in mind that cook time will vary depending on size of the chicken wings and which air fryer you are using.
I cook medium size chicken wings in my Nuwave 10qt Air Fryer at 400ºF for 25-30 minutes.

How Do You Cook Teriyaki Wings In An Air Fryer
- If using store bought teriyaki sauce it will need to be thickened. See notes.
- Pat chicken wings dry with a paper towel. Toss with cornstarch, salt and pepper. Transfer wings to greased air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 400ºF for 18-24 minutes or until just about cooked through (time will vary depending on size of wings). Toss wings in teriyaki sauce then return to air fryer basket. Spoon any sauce remaining in the bowl over the wings.
- Air fry at 400ºF for 3 minutes or until wings are cooked through.
Notes:
In a small pot bring the sauce to a light simmer. Mix 2 Tablespoons cornstarch with 1/4 cup water making sure there are no lumps. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the sauce and cook until thickened to a glaze that can be slathered on the wings. The sauce will thicken a bit more once cooled.
Can You Use Store Bought Teriyaki Sauce
Yes you can use store bought sauce. However, most store bought teriyaki sauces are thin and we need a thick teriyaki sauce for these chicken wings. So if using store bought sauce you will need to thicken it first.
